Bio

Valisa K. Murray is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Michigan and the Founder and CEO of Infinite Love HRS LLC. She is also the visionary Founder of Life & Truth Services Inc, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering healthy relationships, community mindset, and promoting mental health hygiene across all ages.

Education and Expertise

Valisa's foundational education includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tennessee State University and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. Returning to her hometown of Detroit for graduate studies, she discovered a profound passion for helping individuals and families cultivate healthy, meaningful relationships.

Committed to equipping people with the necessary tools to navigate life’s practical and emotional challenges, Valisa has pursued specialized training in relationship education and family development. This includes becoming a certified instructor for the Love Thinks PICK program (Premarital Interpersonal Choices and Knowledge), completing the Family Development Credential program through the University of Connecticut, and earning a Gottman Method Level 2 Certification from the Gottman Institute.

Counseling Philosophy and Practice

As a licensed counselor, Valisa provides both Christian and secular counseling, utilizing a client-centered and solution-focused approach tailored to each individual's unique journey. Her practice focuses on a range of issues, including:

Valisa is proficient in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness, and Therapeutic Mediation. She is an ordained minister who also offers Christian counseling and has a heart for those who have experienced hurt or rejection within faith communities.

Community Impact

Recognizing a significant need in the community for accessible counseling and educational programs focused on healthy relationships and mental health maintenance, Valisa established Life & Truth Services Inc in May 2025. This organization is the realization of her dream to fill these crucial needs, providing a platform to counsel, teach, support, and empower people across all generations.
